Looking Good
Make It Shine, Spruce It Up, Make It Last
When you live on a tight budget, cleaning products that work really well, are a must. A majority of the things I have were purchased second hand or found curbside with a big "Free" sign on it. I have found some great bargains that simply needed a good cleaning up. It is quite satisfying to put a bit of effort into something filthy and watch it become nearly new again. In reality, you have worked for and earned the item you will most likely care for more than the previous owner did. They more than likely, simply handed over the cash to acquire it when they wanted it.
I often have to scour the ends of the earth (well it seems like it), when I'm looking for something I want, but simply can not afford to go out and purchase it. You learn to have patients and become thrilled to death when you find something even better than what you imagined. I know I certainly appreciate the things I have, a great deal. "One man's trash, is another man's treasure". This quote could not be more true. I treasure all that I have and I like to care for these things as well. Be it my home, my possessions or my family. It's simply my nature to care for these things and I'm very thankful for all I have.
These pages will include everything that has to do with cleaning. Must have products and their uses, step by step directions for best results and room by room cleaning suggestions. There are so many products out there to choose from and can often confuse the consumer, when it comes to choosing a product you have never used before. Many products have several uses and can cut costs as well as save space. Much better to have one multipurpose product than to have a dozen that only have one purpose.
My adult children often call me and ask me questions when it comes to cleaning or doing things around the house. I see a need for this information to be available for those who do not have someone to call. Some do not like to ask, in fear of being judged for not knowing. Many don't give it a thought and just wing it and some where along the way, they learn of an easier or better way of doing something. I love it when my kids call and ask, but if I'm not available, they have the next best thing. Notions and Needs will be just a click away on their smart phone.
This list will grow often. I tend to think of things on a daily basis that I can add to the pages of Notions and Needs. I will always do my best to keep it as organized as possible, because I may have to move a few things now and then. I will try very hard to keep new content easy to find before nesting it into it's proper place.
