Quick Tip
– I always have a small bottle of dish soap sitting by the sink for quick access. Well, actually I have two small bottles of dish soap by the sink. One has the dish soap I use for washing the dishes, the other is diluted quite a bit.
I mix it 5-1, 5 parts water, 1 part dish soap. I use the diluted one for washing hands and to quickly wash something I hadn’t had time to wash, but need it now. When you think about it, you do not put very much soap in the sink to wash a sink full of dishes, so why should you use nearly as much to wash your hands or your measuring cup? When diluted, it comes out quickly with just a tip of the wrist, no need to squeeze. The bottles with the pull up top versus the flip top works best. Give it a try and see if this tip works for you. I buy dish soap a lot less often doing this and actually use it more often. Every little bit helps ya’ know.
